CML Egg Prize
Columbus, Ohio
I was one of 9 artists to create 100 mini paintings and 3 designs for stickers, magnets, and pins. These all went into a giant vending machine with egg capsules in them. People could buy one of these book-themed art pieces for 25 cents. -

Why Doodles?
2025
I decided to include doodles in my paintings as a way to bring some of my childhood into my current practice. As a kid, I would add stick figures interacting with the words on my school papers. By adding these doodles to my paintings, I am personalizing each painting and bringing out the young artist in me. I often draw inspiration from my childhood and what it was like to have such a vivid imagination, where I could take something ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary.
